Robust and precise UV production
The Spectrum FB 1612 is designed for flatbed UV production within a 1600×1200 mm area, allowing for the production of parts up to 100 mm high and weighing up to 100 kg. Its 2–16 Ricoh Gen6 printheads provide a scalable base to accommodate varying capacity needs. Resolutions up to 1200×720 dpi and CMYK, CMYKW, and CMYKWV color configurations enable it to handle everything from standard applications to jobs requiring white and varnish. The liquid-cooled UV LED curing system contributes to stable operation. Automatic height and anti-collision sensors, along with the integrated frame and suction partition control, ensure accuracy and safety on a variety of substrates. The use of solvent- and VOC-free UV LED inks, compliant with REACH and RoHS regulations, helps minimize environmental impact.
Up to 22 m²/h and 1200 dpi
The Spectrum FB 1612 offers speeds of 22 m²/h in 4 passes, 15 m²/h in 6 passes, and 10 m²/h in 8 passes. This allows you to choose between higher productivity or greater coverage depending on the work mode. The stated resolution is 1200×720 dpi, with a print resolution of up to 1200 dpi, suitable for visual communication graphics and flatbed applications where good definition is required. The Ricoh Gen6 printheads, integrated in a configuration of 2 to 16 units, operate with piezoelectric inkjet technology, while standard ICC color control helps maintain color consistency with CMYK, CMYKW, and CMYKWV configurations. Overall, the Spectrum FB 1612 is designed to balance quality and speed within the 1600×1200 mm format.
Print on multiple flat substrates
The Spectrum FB 1612 is rated for printing on acrylic, ceramic, glass, metal, wood, PVC, leather, carpet, foam, and other substrates compatible with its UV LED system. Its 1600×1200 mm working area, 100 mm maximum height, and 100 kg maximum weight allow for the placement of rigid or semi-rigid parts within these limits. The suction partition control helps maintain material stability on the bed, while the automatic height sensor and anti-collision sensor help protect the printheads from substrate irregularities. CMYK, CMYKW, and CMYKWV color configurations allow for the application of color, white, and varnish depending on the material and desired effect.

Eco-responsible UV LED inks
The Spectrum FB 1612 uses solvent- and VOC-free UV LED inks, formulated to comply with REACH and RoHS regulations, ensuring minimal environmental impact within these parameters. The curing system is based on liquid-cooled UV LEDs, as indicated in the technical data sheet (page 1), contributing to the thermal stability of the curing unit. CMYK, CMYKW, and CMYKWV color configurations allow for the use of color, white, and varnish on a single platform, managed via standard ICC color control. This approach is integrated with the flatbed capabilities and Ricoh Gen6 printheads to offer a production-oriented UV LED solution for various compatible substrates.
