Industrial single-pass power

The Spectrum S900 is designed for industrial production on kraft paper, cardboard, corrugated cardboard, paper, and other porous materials. Its three FI1000 printheads, with a 900 mm print width and speeds of up to 30 m/min, enable the handling of medium and long runs with high repeatability. The combination of water-based and pigment-based inks, plus CMYK, delivers results suitable for packaging and graphic applications on cardboard, while ICC control helps maintain color consistency across jobs. All this on a robust platform, ready for integration into production lines with an optional automatic feeder.

High speed, high definition

The Spectrum S900 operates in single-pass mode at 30 m/min, with resolutions of 1200×300 dpi, 1200×600 dpi, and 1200×1200 dpi. This allows for a balance between speed and detail, ranging from high-speed production for large volumes to higher definition in text, codes, and graphics on porous materials, while maintaining consistent quality across the 900 mm width.

Optimized for packaging

According to the technical data sheet, the S900 prints on kraft paper, cardboard, corrugated cardboard, paper, and other porous materials within a thickness range of 1–80 mm. This capability makes it suitable for boxes, trays, sleeves, and paper-based packaging solutions, allowing for direct printing onto the substrate without additional label-application steps, provided the specifications of the equipment are met.
